米正万也出生于日本兵库县西宫市。美术硕士 自1997年以来，她一直在使用语言、声音和音乐元素来制作抽象动画，借以探讨主题：我们可以彼此理解，而不必懂得彼此的语言。

她的【大拇指的旅行】项目“ Daumenreise”（Daum = thumb，Reise = trip）通过在不同国籍的旅行影像纪录，足迹遍及全世界22个国家的35个城市，例如奥地利，台湾，挪威，克罗地亚，以色列，日本，波兰，葡萄牙，意大利，韩国，美国 ，塞尔维亚，拉脱维亚，爱沙尼亚，摩洛哥，德国，斯洛文尼亚，印度，印度尼西亚，西班牙，加拿大和比利时等，已经制作了39部动画影片。

自2000年以来，她主要定居德国斯图加特，同时她一直受聘在京都大学授课。 

Born in Hyogo, Japan. M.A. in Fine Art. Since 1997 she has been making abstract animation synchronised with language, sounds and music about the theme - we can understand each other without necessarily understanding each other’s language.

Her “Daumenreise” Project (Daumen=thumb, Reise= trip) which has now 39 films, in 35 cities of 22 countries such as Austria, Taiwan, Norway, Croatia, Israel, Japan, Poland, Portugal,Italy, South Korea, USA, Serbia, Latvia, Estonia, Morocco, Germany, Slovenia, India, Indonesia, Spain, Canada and Belgium. Since 2000 she has been teaching Kyoto Seika University. She lives and works in Stuttgart, Germany.
